Job description
Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.
We are seeking a Digital Asset Coordinator on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Burbank, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize digital assets to support brand strategy and marketing initiatives.
- Manage press site coverage and facilitate asset downloads from external partners.
- Ensure timely updates and accurate availability of digital assets.
- Upload and organize assets within Digital Fusion and other designated platforms.
- Maintain proper naming conventions, metadata standards, and folder structures for efficient asset retrieval.
- Assist with Key Art and Title Treatment preparation using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Resize, format, and prepare creative assets while ensuring compliance with approved fonts and campaign requirements.
- Create Talent Cheat Sheets for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Conduct background research on press publications and provide insights on projects and media coverage.
- Pull, track, and maintain assets across multiple systems while ensuring version control and documentation accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and asset management procedures.
- Escalate legal clearance issues to leadership teams as needed.
- Coordinate final asset handoffs to external distribution teams.
- Support Brand leads with asset request tickets through ticketing systems such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, and HappyFox.
- Perform additional administrative and operational support tasks as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience managing and organizing digital assets within marketing, media, or entertainment environments.
- Experience using digital asset management platforms such as Digital Fusion or similar systems.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience in resizing, formatting, and preparing creative assets for marketing campaigns.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and version control accuracy.
- Experience in maintaining metadata standards, naming conventions, and folder structures.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience conducting research and compiling project-related information.
- Familiarity with online ticketing and workflow management systems such as Smartsheet, Monday.com, or HappyFox.
- Ability to identify and escalate legal or compliance-related asset concerns.
- Strong administrative and operational coordination skills.
