Job description

A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Digital Design & Visualization Lead to help support their business needs.


The Digital Design & Visualization Lead is a highly consultative, client-embedded role responsible for translating complex data into actionable business insights. This position serves as a key contributor within the Performance-Driven Marketing team, partnering cross-functionally to support project lifecycles, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and enhance and future-proof the reporting experience.


The ideal candidate is inquisitive, collaborative, and skilled in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to navigate both the technical demands of IT and the strategic priorities of business teams. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to bridge data, technology, and business objectives.



Responsibilities:

  • Support business teams in requirements gathering and documentation
  • Partner with data integration teams to define and load data sources from multiple data warehouse systems
  • Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and IT to support project execution
  • In-source and manipulate metadata in Power Query to optimize Power BI report performance
  • Build Power BI reports and dashboards based on defined requirements
  • Develop UAT scripts and facilitate testing sessions to ensure reporting readiness
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting using Power BI and other reporting tools
  • Document projects, processes, and learnings to support cross-team collaboration
  • Proactively identify and implement solutions to support performance-driven marketing initiatives


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience with Power BI
  • 1+ year of experience with Power Query
  • 1+ year of experience querying SQL Server, Teradata, or Hadoop
  • 1+ year of experience working within the software development life cycle
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated business intelligence development skills
  • Strong database querying and data manipulation skills
  • Understanding of waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Knowledge of website and digital media analytics, including cookies (first and third party), pixel tags, privacy standards, SEO, social media, and advertising attribution models
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and documentation skills
  • Collaborative and inquisitive mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Automotive or comparable industry experience
  • Experience delivering solutions in performance-driven marketing environments


Hours and Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week
  • 100% remote
