About Us

The Mom Project is excited to partner with a multi-disciplinary architecture and interior design company specializing in residential and light commercial projects, with a focus on thoughtful, intentional design. In addition to offering bespoke design services, we provide digital resources to help homeowners and business owners navigate the design and building process. We are currently preparing for a brand relaunch to expand our local and digital client base.

Position Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to assist with our relaunch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing marketing strategies across website optimization, social media, email marketing, and digital resource promotion. You will help drive growth in local customers, increase digital downloads, and grow our email list.

Key Responsibilities

Website Optimization & SEO

  1. Update and optimize website content for UX (user experience), ensuring mobile-friendliness and clear CTAs.
  2. Perform SEO analysis and keyword research to improve website visibility, focusing on local and industry-specific search terms.
  3. Develop and manage landing pages for digital downloads and promotional campaigns.
  4. Work with web developers (if needed) to implement SEO improvements and track website analytics using Google Analytics or similar tools.

Social Media Strategy & Management

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest) to increase engagement and brand awareness.
  2. Create and manage a social media content calendar, focusing on design inspiration, project showcases, and digital resource promotions.
  3. Run paid social ad campaigns (Facebook, Instagram) to target local homeowners and expand digital content reach.
  4. Monitor and respond to social media interactions, creating meaningful engagement with followers.

Email Marketing & List Growth

  1. Build, manage, and segment email lists to target different customer groups (local clients, digital content buyers).
  2. Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including a welcome series, newsletters, and promotional offers.
  3. Set up automated email workflows for lead nurturing, abandoned cart recovery (for digital downloads), and client follow-ups.
  4. Track and analyze email marketing performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates) to improve campaigns.

Digital Resource Promotion & Sales

  1. Promote our digital products, such as guides and home design resources, through paid ads, email marketing, and social media.
  2. Collaborate on promotional strategies for new digital products, creating campaigns that drive sales and downloads.
  3. Create and manage landing pages for digital resources, ensuring seamless customer experience from awareness to purchase.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  1. Track KPIs and provide detailed reports on website traffic, social media engagement, email campaign effectiveness, and digital product sales.
  2. Recommend and implement strategies based on analytics to continuously improve marketing efforts.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience (3+ years) in digital marketing, preferably within the architecture, interior design, or creative industries.
  2. Strong knowledge of website optimization, SEO, and Google Analytics.
  3. Proficiency in managing social media platforms, with experience in running paid ad campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
  4. Expertise in email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar) and automation workflows.
  5. Experience promoting and driving sales for digital products or resources.
  6. Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to create engaging and targeted messaging.
  7. Familiarity with design and architecture industries is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

  1. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  2. Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
  3. Creative problem-solver who can bring fresh ideas to help differentiate us in a competitive market.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.
  5. High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Tools & Platforms

  1. Website: WordPress, Elementor, Kajabi
  2. Email Marketing: Mailchimp
  3. Social Media: Facebook Business Manager, Instagram Ads, Pinterest Ads
  4. SEO: Google Analytics
  5. Graphic Design: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (I have license, preferred but not required)

Compensation & Benefits

  1. Competitive hourly or project-based rate, depending on experience.
  2. Flexible working hours with the possibility of a long-term contract.
  3. Opportunity to grow with the company and take on larger marketing responsibilities as the business expands.
