The Mom Project is excited to support Etsy with their search for a Digital Marketing Manager to join them on a contract basis.

About The Role
You will work with our Performance Marketing, MarTech, and Analytics teams to plan, build, and debug new privacy-forward integrations with Etsy’s ad partners, which do not rely on 3rd-party cookies or pixels. You should have experience setting up and optimizing digital paid advertising campaigns on Social Media and other channels, on both web and app platforms. You have experience sharing privacy-safe targeting, measurement, and optimization signals with ad partners, operating within user privacy limitations like GDPR, CCPA, and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency.
The role will work closely with internal and external partners on implementation of new integrations, and optimization and debugging of existing ones. You will help educate internal teams about privacy changes and their impact on business practices. You can converse with marketing, technical, and analytical teams
- Plan privacy-forward vendor integrations and tactics to enable Etsy to mitigate losses on our Paid Social Performance Advertising channels, due to legislative and platform-level privacy restrictions
- Define technical roadmap needs for advertising targeting, measurement, and optimization, and audience activation, across our Paid Social channel. Requires deep knowledge of technical ad integrations (pixels, SDKs, server-to-server APIs). Will work closely with our Marketing Technology and Analytics teams.
- Assess new vendors, technologies, and integrations for Etsy’s Performance Marketing channels, with a focus on Paid Social
- Work with internal and external partners to understand their technology stacks, and drive improvements to protect against potential privacy-related limitations.
- Stay on top of the always-evolving digital marketing landscape, as it’s impacted by privacy-related vendor platform changes and increasing legislative restrictions
- Coordinate & lead dissemination of privacy-related tactics, lessons, updates, and technical findings across the Etsy Inc. House of Brands.
- Lead the development of advanced monitoring systems & protection processes to protect Etsy’s performance marketing programs.
- Coordinate & guide Etsy Marketing Technology teams in ensuring seamless integration of internal product feed, measurement, & audience systems.
Requirements
- A great communicator, working with partners with a wide range of technical and marketing experience
- Highly collaborative, and operate with integrity, confidence, and empathy
- Passionate about the Etsy marketplace, and care deeply about customer experience
Must-Haves
- 4+ years of Marketing Technology experience, including experience optimizing Paid Social ad campaigns (Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.)
- Expertise with advertising data integrations (pixel/S2S/SDK), privacy compliance, International strategy, app and video experience
- Experience working directly with advertising vendors
- Experience optimizing ad campaigns at scale; experience operating audience focused campaigns using large product feeds particularly desirable
- Experience working on large-scale, fast-paced, and rapidly-changing projects
Nice-to-Haves
- Strong analytical drive, with previous experience with advanced attribution models (multi-touch, LTV, frequency) and knowledge of major data analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Neustar, Looker, etc.)
- Experience managing MMPs (e.g. Appsflyer, Branch), CDPs (e.g. Segment, LiveRamp) and creative or feed optimization tools (i.e. Smartly.io, Feedonomics, etc.).
- Ideally, you have agency and/or startup experience, where you have learned to be resourceful
