Job description

The Mom Project is excited to support Etsy with their search for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their team on a contract basis.



About The Team


The Affiliate and Creator Collective teams are responsible for activating creators and affiliates to convert new buyers and drive existing buyers to shop more frequently on the Etsy website and apps. This team is part of the larger Brand Marketing function within the Marketing org.


About The Role


As the Digital Marketing Specialist - Creator Collective, you will be responsible for growing the Direct program. This is inclusive of recruiting new partners, increasing their engagement and sales, as well as sending them relevant communications, content, etc., and setting up gifting, incentives, etc. for them to truly succeed. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing goals. You will report to the Direct program lead and execute on the Direct Strategy as outlined below. You will also work closely with Paid Social to deliver UGC content to be used for Paid from the Direct program.



Responsibilities:


Direct Program Support

  • Partner with Affiliate Network and the Direct program lead to oversee Partner Recruitment, Management, and Optimization
  • Drive outreach and recruitment strategy targeting approximately 10,000 partners per week
  • Monitor engagement, outreach volume, and sign-up rates, adjusting strategy as needed
  • Test and optimize recruitment channels, including social outreach, email, and platform-based tools
  • Own creator onboarding goals of 24,000 creators by December 2026, including active and revenue-driving targets
  • Align incentives, recruitment campaigns, and email initiatives to drive $11M+ in annual GMS
  • Manage and maintain the Creator Database with affiliate partners
  • Oversee the Creator Dashboard with support from agency to ensure accurate tracking of new and existing members

Gifting Programs

  • Ensure monthly welcome gifts are sent to all new joiners
  • Coordinate inventory and fulfillment with gifting partners
  • Expand gifting initiatives such as birthday and milestone recognition

Incentives & Paid Campaigns

  • Partner with merchandising and the Direct program lead to ensure program teams can develop monthly incentive opportunities
  • Funnel opted-in creators into paid campaigns with usage rights
  • Schedule incentive offers aligned with seasonal and promotional calendars
  • Plan and organize all paid campaigns for the full year
  • Leverage platform trend ( Meta/TikTok) to inform campaign concepts and amplification strategies

Creator Cohorts & Performance Management

  • Segment creators into performance-based cohorts as the program matures
  • Develop milestone-based incentives and bonus structures
  • Ensure at least one paid campaign is available monthly for creator participation
  • Analyze real-time performance data to identify trends and optimize strategy
  • Collaborate with the Direct program lead for strategic guidance and program support, while taking ownership of execution.
  • Partner with agency to access real-time performance data and ensure you can independently generate and analyze reports to identify trends, optimize performance, and refine strategy.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Pull and distribute monthly Direct program performance reports

Creator Education & Enablement

  • Host quarterly onboarding webinars for new creators
  • Develop a structured webinar calendar for multiple creator cohorts

Paid Social Content Support

  • Source and cast high-performing creators across TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and Meta
  • Vet creators using performance data, trend analysis, and platform insights
  • Manage creator relationships, including outreach, negotiations, contracts, gifting, and creative briefing
  • Partner with the Paid Social team to align content sourcing with campaign calendars
  • Maintain a steady pipeline of high-quality content for paid media campaigns
  • Build creator relationships across international markets for paid expansion efforts

CRM Support (Braze)

  • Brand/copy requests and support in Email builds are inclusive of the above.
  • Support team in Braze migration process, ensuring we are set up foundationally, and have all the relevant audiences and data moved to our new platform.

Email Support Monitoring (Customer Care)

  • Monitor support team replies to inbound emails (creator inquiries)
  • Regularly connect with internal and external support teams to ensure we have the right processes in place and updates to the agent GURU docs.


Hours and Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week
  • Remote anywhere in the US
