Job description
Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.
We are seeking a Digital Personalization Manager on a contract basis to support our customer’s ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote - EST hours.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business results by leading the design, development, and execution of digital personalization initiatives.
- Support the development and refinement of digital customer journeys across web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify personalization and targeting use cases.
- Lead digital personalization, segmentation, targeting, and optimization efforts, including A/B and multivariate website testing.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into implementation roadmaps and project plans for digital experiences.
- Identify opportunities to improve user engagement through personalization strategies.
- Prepare and maintain project status reports and adjust project plans as needed.
- Direct and monitor project activities across business platforms and functional teams.
- Support project implementation planning and documentation to ensure smooth execution.
- Resolve issues and troubleshoot personalization campaigns as needed.
- Provide training and guidance related to marketing technologies and personalization platforms.
- Facilitate campaign launches and ensure successful execution from start to finish.
- Participate in project evaluations against timelines and estimated plans.
- Provide ongoing support and optimization recommendations for personalization initiatives.
- Manage and maintain the personalization roadmap.
- Partner with analytics teams to build tracking and reporting solutions for campaigns.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and build campaign strategies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required OR high school diploma/GED with 10+ years of digital marketing experience.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, digital A/B testing, campaign management, and/or digital personalization.
- Experience leading teams focused on campaigns, web strategies, and personalization initiatives.
- Experience working with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop campaign strategies.
- Experience partnering with analytics teams to develop campaign tracking solutions.
- Direct experience with marketing technologies such as Adobe Test & Target, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pega Systems, Dynamic Yield, and Optimizely.
- Strong experience with personalization platforms and digital customer experience strategies.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Experience managing campaigns and optimization initiatives from planning through execution.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience working within Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of user experience principles and digital customer journeys.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
- Agency, e-commerce, or consumer financial services industry experience.
- Experience working within regulated industries such as retail or financial services.
