Job description

Title: Digital Platform Administrator
Location: 100% Remote
Status: ~ 15 hrs/wk, 1 year to start, ongoing if mutually agreed upon
Hourly Range: $25 - $30/hr, commensurate with experience

Our client is a a Christian nonprofit that provides biblical resources, discipleship and community for women so they can exchange codependency for God dependency and thrive.

Position Summary

The Digital Platform Administrator plays a crucial role in upholding our technological framework through digital design, marketing and technology support and has a personal relationship with Christ. This position entails managing social media, the daily functions of software systems, plug-ins, and websites to guarantee their efficient and secure operation, thereby improving the online experience for all women in our Tribe. By addressing technical challenges and keeping up- to-date with software products, the Technology Administrator enhances women's access to biblical resources, effectively boosting engagement and fostering discipleship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Website and App Support:

  • Enhance functionality and collaboration of all website plug-ins and platforms used on the Website. Please see list below:
    • WordPress
    • WooCommerce
    • BuddyBoss
    • Memberium
    • LearnDash
    • Rapid Cloud Server
    • Tithley
    • Active Campaign
  • Address technical issues to improve user experience
  • Create posts, graphics and pages using WordPress as needed. (Coding not required.)
  • Upload class materials as needed in Learn Dash and create supporting graphics
  • Post new products in our store through Wordpress
  • Ensure website security with best practices
  • Update website plug-ins and app updates as needed. (Note: Our app is developed and maintained through BuddyBoss, but we are responsible for downloading updates.)
  • Make changes to App and Website as needed through Wordpress
  • Update our Google and Apple App Developer Accounts as needed
  • Collaborate closely with the website developer for advanced technical issues when needed.
  • Maintain Website to provide a friendly information hub for our ministry
  • Create new pages as needed
  • Trouble shoot when needed
  • Support CRM structure to align with overall corporate strategy and ministry needs
