Creative Operations Director (contract to full time)
100% Remote
30 hours week
1099 - Temp to Perm opportunity
Overview: We are a marketing and advertising agency whose mission is to help brands connect with communities. We are experts in key categories and segments including: food, agriculture, education and health.
Our team of creatives and strategists is looking for a lead in creative operations. This role will be very involved in the day-to-day process of the creative department and the accounts we service.
This team member will drive and manage the look and feel of client campaigns and will be very involved in the day-to-day process of the various accounts we service.
Location: Texas (remote worker/flexible)
Requirements:
8-10 years of related experience as a Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, or Art Director in either an agency or in-house creative role
Solid knowledge of the creative management process (mass media/digital) and ability to jump in and hit the ground running
Previous experience in transcreating creative and/or developing original multicultural campaigns
Maturity and strength under pressure and the ability to problem solve and concept on the spot; make immediate recommendations as needed
Ensure the creative direction support the clients’ overall marketing/business objectives
Work with accounts on providing creative strategies and new trends that expand our clients’ ability to reach their audiences
Experience in managing diverse internal and external creative teams, vendors and seeking new partners including providing direction, creative input and a strong sense of project management
Significant presentation skills and ability to present and sell concepts
Willingness to travel and pitch with leadership (likely to be 3-4x per year)
Responsibilities: (organized by area of focus)
General across all areas
Manage internal creative team(s) to meet the client's expectations across various projects and drive concepting and build a positive and collaborative relationship with internal and external client teams
Support the account leads in reviewing creative requests and help develop quotes to fulfill the work
Ensure projects are on time and on budget
Embraces project management tools and takes ownership on the workflow established while making suggestions to improve how we operate
Creative Development, Presentation and Production
The ability to take on learning various client brand guidelines and understanding various businesses to develop branding voice and creative campaigns
Partner with the Accounts and Brand Design team to strategize the presentation, prepare for client meetings, briefings, concept presentations, and sell-in of creative campaigns
Oversee creative development and shepherd projects through daily details and prepare for client presentation
Work with production partners in managing execution, estimate preparation, approval, and pre/post production
Ensure that the client and agency are protected vis- -vis legal, network clearance, talent negotiations and payments, rights and usage of materials
Media Expertise
Work with the Media & Account lead on review of media buys and creative required
Ensure all specs are received and that creative team has instructions on what to concept and what creative will be needed
Review all creative (mass and digital), SEO terms, and copy development

Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in advertising, communication design, graphic design, or art-related field
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, etc.)
WordPress and digital knowledge is also a real plus
Fluent understanding of current digital design trends
Proven production experience including video, radio, print/OOH, web UX/UI, digital and social
Must be comfortable in an open and fast moving environment and work proficiently as an individual and part of a team
Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
