They are looking for an experienced Director of Marketing + Sales who thrives in early to mid-stage startup environments to lead our Marketing department, directly responsible for growing our revenue from multi 7 figures to 8 figures and beyond.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as Director of Marketing at prior organizations.
- Experience developing, managing, and growing an Online Marketing team of more than 5-10+ direct reports.
- Current Team consists of Paid Acquisition, Social Media Managers, Copywriters, Funnel Strategist, etc. type personnel.
- Demonstrable proficiency in managing and executing the seamless coordination of marketing assets across 5 or more major channels (i.e. Instagram, YouTube, Podcast, Facebook, etc.)
- Phenomenal cross-functional collaboration skills, with superb abilities to coordinate and work with teams in other departments, all working together in achieving organizational goals.
- Experience directly working and strategizing with at least 1-2 Company Founders/Visionaries/Owners.
- Ability to anticipate the needs and wants of the Visionary for front-end launches.
- Ability to pivot and remain agile when new ideas are brought forth that weren’t originally outlined in campaign briefs but are for the betterment of the marketing initiatives and revenue KPIs.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working at a high-growth, online education, membership-based, and/or platform-based organization.
- You have successfully recruited + trained NEW a Marketing department.
- You have successfully launched memberships, online courses, and/or digital products repeatedly.
- Experience working with common online marketing and project management softwares and tools (i.e. landing page builders, email service providers, CRMs, and course hosting platforms such as Clickfunnels, Kajabi, Wordpress, ActiveCampaign, Showit, WebinarJam, Typeform, TryInteract, etc.)
Your Responsibilities:
- End-to-end optimization of front and back-end funnels to automate sales while increasing customer lifetime value.
- Engagement campaigns to convert more of our email subscribers into product buyers repeatedly.
- Launching and managing successful email campaigns: Familiar with delivery tools like ActiveCampaign and other CRM tools.
- Omni-channel messaging & marketing: Create promotional strategies and cross-platform messaging plans that drive acquisition intent (purchase), engagement (onboarding), and frequency of use (retention).
- Owning the integrated marketing calendar, focusing on cross-channel campaign strategy, and end-to-end execution that brings the products and the brand to life across all consumer touchpoints (search, social media, email, chat/sms).
- Experience with managing funnel page creation and their conversion rate driven optimizations to enhance marketing and revenue operations, running different experiments and measuring key KPIs.
- Proven track record in creative design and brand management on landing pages, social media ads, and email designs that meet specific brand objectives from awareness to conversion, to brand love.
- Solid experience with online behavioral softwares like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Hotjar, LuckyOrange, Crazy Egg, Optimizely, Unbounce or MixPanel providing data-driven reporting analytics to drive customer funnel conversion (e.g.: reducing friction, and improving user experience on landing pages, product detail pages, and checkout funnels).
- Command of A/B testing features, including ClickFunnels variant testing, among other A/B testing tools, to manage testing across the entire experimentation lifecycle to arrive at a strong data-driven hypothesis that will advance our business.
- Managing, growing, and training an entire department of marketing personnel and vendors.
- Creating Marketing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). You’ll ensure each Marketing task and function has detailed documentation for repeatable and scalable growth and quick employee onboarding.
