What you’ll do:

We're looking for a Director of User Acquisition to design and execute against a scalable user growth strategy that will impact The Mom Project’s growth trajectory. You will be responsible for the development, execution and measurement of campaigns that acquire users for the supply (talent) side of our marketplace. We’re looking for a growth leader who is both creative and analytical, has a strong bias for action, and is able to work collaboratively in a loosely structured, highly dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Ownership of user acquisition and retention metrics for supply side of marketplace
Define and execute against multi-year user lifecycle strategy (acquisition, activation, retention, reactivation)
Lead all supply-side user acquisition marketing; build and expand core channels including but not limited to digital (social, SEM/SEO, display, affiliate, email and content) and offline (universities, professional organizations, affinity groups, events, parenting communities) to drive user growth
Work with head of talent operations to identify customer trends and supply gaps to quickly address
Define and execute against user segmentation strategy, deploying nurturing programs to engage users higher in the funnel
Experiment with new channels, techniques, and messaging to scale advertising spend as efficiently as possible
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage external vendors to build and execute campaigns

Requirements

5+ years of experience driving user growth - experience growing audiences with like audiences strongly preferred
Strong background in analytics and multi-variant A/B testing
Belief in growth as a system, not one-off tactics
Demonstrated ability to move quickly without compromising intuition and quality
Proven success delivering results in a fast-paced, demanding, high growth, yet collaborative environment. Must be highly comfortable working under pressure.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong passion for process improvement and obsessive attention to detail
Prior experience working in a startup environment is a plus
