Our Customer is the world's leading music company that owns and operates a broad array of businesses engaged in recorded music, music publishing, merchandising, and audiovisual content in more than 60 countries. They identify and develop recording artists and songwriters, and produce, distribute and promote the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful music to delight and entertain fans around the world.
We are seeking an E-Commerce Store Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is on-site in Philadelphia, PA.
This role will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and holistic well-being of our e-commerce stores. This role will work cross-functionally with both internal teams and external partners to successfully execute daily product activations, new store launches, and timely receipt and fulfillment of all product and customer orders. The E-Commerce Store Manager will also be responsible for ensuring technical backend features are routinely updated and functioning properly, and store fronts are regularly maintained in order to optimize customer experience and maximize revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of 50+ artist and label e-commerce stores
- Execute setup and launch of new online stores and product releases
- Maintain and update product listings, including titles, descriptions, and images
- Optimize storefront merchandising, taxonomy, and functionality for customer experience
- Oversee digital music distribution for artists and labels
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocks
- Partner with marketing, tech, and creative teams to execute campaigns on storefronts
- Coordinate with logistics, order management, and fulfillment teams to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain strong relationships with labels, partners, and third-party vendors
- Collaborate with customer service teams to communicate store updates and resolve issues
- Analyze inventory and sales reports and provide insights to stakeholders
- Recommend storefront updates to improve conversion, sessions, and overall performance
- Monitor and submit chart reporting data for album performance
- Investigate and resolve order and fulfillment issues using data warehouse reporting
- Troubleshoot backend and frontend e-commerce issues
- Provide support outside standard business hours as needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce, merchandising, project management, logistics, or related fields
- Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory and sales reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com or Asana
- Working knowledge of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify Plus
- Strong retail math and data interpretation skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and deadlines
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Availability to work outside standard hours, including occasional weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java, or Ruby
