We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Email Marketing Program Lead on a contract basis to support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% Remote for EST based candidates.
This role will oversee the execution and optimization of email nurture programs while leading a key initiative to transition from traditional nurture workflows to triggered email workflows. This role combines expertise in email marketing, data-driven decision-making, and marketing automation to elevate customer engagement and drive measurable outcomes across the customer journey.
Responsibilities:
- Nurture Campaign Management
- Execute personalized email nurture campaigns that align with audience needs and business objectives.
- Optimize existing nurture workflows to increase engagement, conversions, and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align messaging with overall marketing strategy.
- Transition to Triggered Workflows
- Lead the project to migrate from static nurture campaigns to dynamic, triggered email workflows
- Develop and implement a roadmap for the transition, including data mapping, audience segmentation, and trigger identification.
- Collaborate with marketing automation teams to build and test real-time triggered workflows based on customer behaviours and lifecycle stages.
- Data-Driven Optimisation
- Analyse campaign performance and generate insights to refine email strategies.
- Use A/B testing, engagement metrics, and conversion rates to inform content, timing, and triggers.
- Ensure proper tracking of triggered workflows using UTM parameters and other analytics tools.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with partner teams to ensure alignment on goals and feedback loops.
- Educate stakeholders on the benefits of triggered workflows and how they enhance lead nurturing and customer experiences.
- Document best practices, workflows, and processes for future scalability.
Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in email marketing, marketing automation, or a related field.
- Proven track record in managing successful email nurture programs.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and reporting
- Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the use of tracking tools to monitor campaign performance.
- Ability to develop and implement project roadmaps and manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, content, design, and product marketing.
- Excellent communication skills to educate and align stakeholders on new workflows and best practices.
- Ability to document processes and maintain clear, detailed records for scalability and future reference.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges and opportunities from multiple perspectives.
