We are seeking an Email Marketing Specialist on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.
With guidance from the Email Marketing Program Managers, this role ensures smooth and successful development of each marketing email deployment, ushering the process from brief to execution. This program drives multi-channel traffic, conversion and sales throughout the year, member acquisition and retention, and maintains the connection between the company and its members and customers. Responsibilities include relationship management between external and internal business partners and the interpretation and execution of program and project plans. The Email Marketing Specialist works cross-divisionally to develop and implement these programs within sales channels (retail and web) and makes adjustments and optimizations based on business needs. Models and acts in accordance with the company's guiding values and mission.
What You'll Do:
- Manages the day-to-day workflow and development of the promotional email marketing program.
- Contributes to strategy development in partnership with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Program Managers and executes email marketing plans, both customer and employee-facing, in support of respective Annual Marketing Plans.
- Shepherds the creative development process for deliverables which support marketing programs.
- Performs quality assurance of email campaigns to ensure accuracy and customer experience align with campaign goals and requirements.
- Support process improvement & operational change management within the Email team
- Verifies personalization and testing parameters are implemented correctly and accurately.
- Supports basic program reporting as needed.
- HTML knowledge is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in email marketing communications or relevant field.
- Experience and demonstrated success with vendor relationships in a retail business model.
- Demonstrated understanding of consumer behavior and applying insights to daily work
- Ability to effectively plan and execute marketing programs.
- Experience and demonstrated ability blending analytical and creative thinking.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Marketing or relevant field preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office business applications.
- Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions in order to support the direction taken by others
