Job description
Our Customer is an American worldwise clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are availabile in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.
We are seeking an Email Producer on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in San Francisco, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and execute approved marketing content across the email channel
- Ensure projects are launched on time and meet requirements, while keeping management updated on progress, deliverables, milestone dates, and resources
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, site merchandising, creative, and development, throughout the workflow
- Communicate changes in scope or schedule to management, highlighting potential impacts to marketing channels
- Assist in leading key meetings, documenting action items, and ensuring follow-up and completion
- Drive QA review and final sign-off of content, document feedback, and manage required changes
- Provide support for cross-functional teams when issues occur by facilitating resolution and communicating updates
- Proactively learn brand processes, systems, and business operations, while working with management to identify improvement areas
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of experience in detailed task planning and execution, preferably in retail/ecommerce
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Airtable, Smartsheet, or Office 365
- 1+ year of experience working with an email service provider and tools such as SFMC, Movable Ink, or Coherent Path (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage and communicate deliverables across multiple projects
- Ability to handle routine and impromptu assignments with minimal supervision while adapting to team direction
- Self-motivated and driven, capable of working independently and collaboratively
- Ability to stay poised in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
