Job description

Our Customer is a tech real-estate marketplace company with a portfolio of the largest and most vibrant real estate and home-related brands on the web and mobile. The company’s brands focus on all stages of the home lifecycle: renting, buying, selling, financing and home improvement. They are committed to empowering consumers with unparalleled data, inspiration and knowledge around homes, and connecting them with the right local professionals to help.

We are seeking an Email Specialist on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs.

Hours and Location: 100% remote, 30 hours/week (flex on 4 or 5 days a week)

Responsibilities:

  • Dedicated email specialist building AdHoc emails B2B as well as B2C. Will help audit email programs, maintain reporting, check for consistency, etc. to include basic admin duties. Will be working with cross-team stakeholders.
  • Own production of outbound communications. This includes the setup, scheduling and deployment of Borrower, Agent and Loan Officer programs as well as the reporting and post-mortems with the working team.
  • Be the platform authority for the marketing automation platform. Deeply understand its capabilities and how to get things done on the platform. Be the go-to resource for internal partners to help drive usage of the platform for new testing, new programming, and new ways to personalize the experience through notifications.
  • Troubleshoot and QA issues as needed with new and existing programs. Know your partners internally if you need additional technical help from Engineering, Decision Science, or Consumer Analytics.
  • Drive the implementation of deeper personalization into all notification templates.
  • Support testing & optimization of outbound communications and share takeaways to the broader organization.
  • Own cross-channel by-program/campaign reporting and partners closely with Consumer Analytics to continue to develop the 360 view of the customer to inform future revs of lifecycle strategy.
  • Drive monthly to quarterly audits of data flow, tracking, & delivery.
  • Works closely with Engineering and Design to submit and run new requests for work or tickets in process.
  • Ensure tracking and QA are in place pre-deployment. Partners with Engineering & Analytics.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Experience working on ESPs (Iterable, Marketo, Braze, Act-On etc.)
  • You have prior experience in marketing campaign automation, campaign management, consumer analytics, and/or performance marketing. Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Iterable are a plus.
  • Someone who loves execution, documentation and numbers.
  • Undeniably results-driven and analytical in nature, you are passionate about testing and monitoring results over time. You are constantly hunting for new opportunity to do better for the users.
  • You crave the experience developing campaigns across email, push, in-app, in-browser, and SMS to keep users engaged, re-engaged and an active part of the database.
  • You can chart your own course and bring new thinking and energy to build innovative processes and ways of working.
  • Excited to learn outbound marketing methodologies, multi-channel marketing and building integrated marketing programs to promote movement and retention throughout a user’s lifecycle.
  • A cross-functional collaborator, you thrive in building relationships with engineers, product managers, and analysts as well as creative teams, and content creators.
  • You are a phenomenal communicator, tenacious problem solver, and creative thinker who also sweats the details.
