We are seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with assigned business organizations and designated HRBPs to provide employee relations guidance and advice.
- Support and coach managers in developing, delivering, and monitoring Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), while reviewing complaints or concerns regarding the process.
- Consult business leaders on properly interpreting policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
- Conduct escalated employee performance management, involuntary terminations, employee engagement activities, employee concerns, mediated conversations, and listening sessions.
- Capture metrics and data points to ensure consistent processes across functions within the Go-To-Market team, including Global Sales and Merchant Strategy & Operations.
- Provide regular updates to business and HR leaders, including recommendations on areas of opportunity.
- Contribute new ideas for continuous improvement, including process enhancements that reduce costs, strengthen satisfaction, and improve effective service delivery.
- Support operationalizing and building efficiency within employee relations processes, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in the implementation of strategic initiatives involving employees and leaders.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of employee relations experience, ideally focused on employee relations, employment law, or HRBP/People Partner work.
- Strong interpersonal skills with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, combined with high emotional intelligence (EQ).
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple levels of leadership, Legal, HRBPs, and other stakeholders.
- Experience with HR Information Systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow) and case management software (e.g., HR Acuity).
- Strong problem-solving skills with a bias for action and the ability to ask the right questions.
- Flexible, organized, and able to shift priorities quickly.
- Customer service mindset with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
- Well-versed in federal employment law and able to research relevant state legislation as needed.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
