Our Customer is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist on a contract basis to investigate concerns involving alleged violations of the Code of Conduct & Ethics and their policies.


This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Investigate concerns involving alleged violations of the Company Code of Conduct & Ethics and internal policies
  • Conduct investigations related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, workplace bullying, financial matters, expense concerns, and compliance issues
  • Manage a caseload of multiple investigations, working both independently and collaboratively
  • Perform end-to-end investigations from intake through resolution
  • Conduct investigative interviews with employees and relevant stakeholders
  • Review, analyze, and synthesize documents and data collected during investigations
  • Summarize and organize findings as part of the investigation and reporting process
  • Develop objective, analytically sound findings and provide recommendations for corrective action and organizational improvements
  • Draft detailed investigation reports and related correspondence
  • Communicate effectively with employees, managers, HR partners, and legal counsel throughout the investigation and post-investigation process
  • Prepare executive summaries and provide updates to senior leaders and executives
  • Partner with HR, business leaders, and in-house counsel to ensure thorough and fair investigation outcomes
  • Build trust, transparency, and confidence in the Ethics & Investigations function


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting investigations in a private or publicly traded company and/or equivalent case management, fact-finding, and analytical experience as an attorney
  • Experience conducting complex investigations in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Strong investigative interviewing, analytical, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to make objective findings and provide sound recommendations
  • Experience interacting with stakeholders across multiple levels of an organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment across time zones

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practicing attorney background
  • Experience in employment law and/or employee relations
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions or countries
  • Experience conducting investigations within the technology industry
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
