Job description

They also offer a complete solution of software products and services to help real estate professionals serve their clients and grow their business in a digital world.
Our customer is looking for an Employee Relations Specialist on a contract basis to help support their business needs. This role is hybrid in Scottsdale, AZ. 3x/week
Under the direction of the Dir. Employee Relations, the Employee Relations Specialist serves as a technical leader who provides guidance to all levels within the organization, utilizing specialized employee relations expertise within the area of responsibility to resolve questions, concerns and grievances for all company employees.
What You’ll Do:
- Employee Relations
- Manage complex employee relations issues, including identifying, analyzing, and recommending resolutions
- May serve as facilitator and apply interventions to resolve low risk employee disagreements, conflicts, or misunderstandings if needed
- Maintain required documentation, including intake and investigative notes, supporting documents and final reports
- Interpret and apply understanding of corporate policies and practices, employment law, and other regulations to provide advice, guidance, or clarification for ER inquiries.
- Manage tier 1 employee matters and escalate to appropriate COE as necessary
- Ensure data integrity and monitoring of all corrective action submission requests
- Participate in termination conversations related to metrics, attendance and other tier 1 issues
- Cultivate a strong client oriented service rapport with HR Business Partner teams, and other internal partners, that is based on a high level of collaboration and inclusion.
- Support reduction in workforce efforts by partnering with HR Business Partners and Legal
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Compliance
- Research current laws, rules, and other regulatory requirements to assess firm activity for existing and emerging risks
- Manage the compliance monitoring program (BLR) and review activity to ensure it falls within established policies and procedures
- Ensure 100% completion of all company required policy acknowledgments
- Assist in the distribution of in-office badge reporting
- Assists development and implementation of policies, reporting procedures and administrative guidelines
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience in a Human Resource related field
- 3+ years experience with leading complex investigations
- Knowledge of HR fundamentals such as benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and training and development
- G Suite, Slack and Gchat, UKG, JIRA and Smartsheets a big plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong people relationship management ability and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with all levels of a diverse organization
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal practices and precedents and how to apply employment law to workplace issues
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while leading and performing tasks with multiple conflicting priorities
