Our Customer is seeking a contract Employee Service Coordinator who demonstrates empathy for employee needs and proficiency in resolving operational challenges. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional service and excels at prioritizing tasks while maintaining accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.
In this role, the individual contributes to organizational success by delivering a best-in-class employee support experience. Responsibilities include addressing inquiries across multiple functional areas—including HR, Compensation, Benefits, Workforce Management, and related functions—while ensuring internal resources such as the intranet remain accurate and up to date.
This position also plays a key role in establishing scalable processes for employee support and continuous operational improvement, contributing to long-term organizational effectiveness.
This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries across payroll, benefits, leave of absence, compensation, onboarding, offboarding, and company policies
- Manage and resolve ServiceNow cases within established SLAs, maintaining accurate documentation and timely case closure
- Partner with cross-functional employee support teams, including Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Success, IT, and Legal, to resolve employee inquiries
- Prepare and process time-sensitive documents and forms, including I-9s, personnel files, employment verifications, unemployment claims, and offboarding paperwork
- Route completed documentation to appropriate teams for further processing in a timely manner
- Conduct weekly and monthly audits with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information and records
- Promote self-service tools by guiding employees to the company intranet and AI-powered resources, identifying content gaps, and recommending improvements
- Support ad hoc HR projects and special initiatives as assigned
- Participate in structured onboarding and training programs covering HR processes, SOPs, and tools
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of HR-related experience, including coursework or academic exposure
- Experience with case management systems such as ServiceNow
- Experience with Workday or another HRIS platform
- Familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD
- Process improvement mindset with the ability to identify workflow enhancements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver information professionally and compassionately
- Customer service experience in phone-based or front-line support environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on employee satisfaction
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving processes, policies, and technology
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and integrity
