Job description

Licensed Attorney - Employment Law experience preferred

  • Fully remote position
  • Part-Time, 1099 Contractor, starting with 6 months
  • Average 20 hours a week
  • Hourly: $65-85/hour depending on experience
  • Must be admitted to practice in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC - admission in at least two of these jurisdictions preferred.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience with employment law. The ideal candidate will be familiar with EEOC/MCCR administrative hearings.

We are a Maryland and Washington, DC based law firm that values passion, creativity, and dedication to helping clients in their time of need. The firm primarily represents high level federal and private sector employees in federal courts in the DMV area. We are growing and looking for an Employment Attorney to grow with us. Initial salary to increase with growth and performance. This is a remote position, but you will be asked to attend depositions or court hearings in the DC/MD area. Opportunity to advance within firm.


Candidate must be exceptionally well qualified, self-motivated and highly responsible. Must be proficient with Microsoft, legal research, and motion writing. Must be able to work independently.


Applicants must provide references and a writing sample to be considered for the position. The writing sample should be a motion, a demand letter, or a legal memo to a supervising attorney.


This is an excellent opportunity to manage your own case load and gain valuable litigation and trial experience.


Experience representing clients in civil actions (federal court) regarding Employment Law is a plus.
