Job description

Employment Law Attorney | Lisenced in North Carolina

Hybrid | Greater Charlotte Area or Triangle

W2- Part Time or Full Time | $35-$50/hr DOE

Our client is an established law firm located in the Charlotte and Triangle areas. They understand that great work and a fulfilling life go hand in hand, which is why they’ve created a flexible work environment designed to support their employees’ needs.

Whether you’re looking for a full-time opportunity or prefer part-time hours, you’ll have the flexibility to build a schedule that works for you. Attorneys receive a competitive base salary along with the opportunity to earn additional compensation through a bonus structure tied to the revenue generated by their cases. With flexible scheduling, meaningful earning potential, and a team that values professionalism and work-life balance, this is an opportunity to build your career in a way that works for you.

This is an ideal role for an experienced employment attorney who can independently manage cases from start to finish while helping expand our employment practice.

The right candidate will be comfortable handling matters from the initial client consultation through resolution, whether by settlement, arbitration, or trial. They will also have the opportunity to help develop systems, processes, and client service standards as we continue growing our employer representation practice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employment law matters from intake through final resolution.
  • Draft demand letters, pleadings, motions, discovery, and dispositive motions.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Conduct mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Advise employees and employers on employment law issues.
  • Counsel business clients regarding policies, compliance, investigations, employee relations, and risk management.
  • Assist in developing employer-side programs, systems, and ongoing client relationships.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and maintain consistent communication with clients throughout representation.

Compensation

  • Our traditional compensation model for attorneys includes a competitive base salary, depending on experience—along with the opportunity to earn additional bonuses based on the revenue generated from their cases.

All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.

If you are a person with a disability needing assistance with the application, or at any point in the hiring process, please contact us at support@themomproject.com.
