Job Title: Enrolled Agent (IRS Compliance & Resolution Case Manager)
Location: Remote (Permanent location can be discussed for long-term role)
Type: Short-Term Contract (with potential for long-term/permanent role)
Compensation: $5,000 - $10,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)

We are a fast-growing firm specializing in tax resolution, IRS compliance, and financial services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enrolled Agent for a short-term role with the potential to transition into a permanent position as Head of the Processing Department. Position Overview:
As an Enrolled Agent, you will be the key player in our processing department, managing IRS compliance, resolution workflows, and case management for our clients. This is a short-term position with a strong potential to evolve into a long-term role, leading to the opportunity to become the Head of the Processing Department based on performance.
In this role, you’ll handle the full scope of IRS interactions, including correspondence, negotiation, and compliance management. You will also act as a case manager, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely handling of each client’s tax resolution process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire tax resolution workflow from intake to resolution.
- Act as the primary liaison for all IRS compliance and tax resolution matters.
- Negotiate directly with the IRS on behalf of clients, addressing audits, liens, levies, installment agreements, and offers in compromise.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all client tax documents and respond promptly to IRS notices.
- Maintain detailed case records and documentation for each client.
- Collaborate with internal teams, keeping clients informed throughout the resolution process.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on tax resolution strategies and IRS procedures.
- Stay current on tax laws, IRS regulations, and compliance practices.
Qualifications:
- Active and in good standing as an Enrolled Agent (EA).
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in tax resolution and IRS compliance.
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations, tax codes, and negotiation techniques.
- Proven track record of successfully handling IRS cases, including installment agreements, audits, and offers in compromise.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, especially in handling IRS and client interactions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a high-volume tax resolution environment.
- Familiarity with tax preparation software and case management systems.
- Leadership potential, with the ability to grow into a senior role within the department.
