Job description

The Mom Project is excited to support our customer, a multi-channel marketing strategy firm focused on serving higher education marketing and student recruitment, with their search for Enrollment Development Representatives to join their growing team!

Summary / Objective

The Enrollment Development Representative (EDR) has a passion for helping students find the right educational path. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service throughout the lead generation process.

EDRs must be motivated by goals and the opportunity to meet performance metrics, grow within the team, and advance financially. This position requires the ability to control the call in terms of both time spent on the phone and the outcome, including effective school matching.

The EDR focuses on strategic outbound outreach to prospective students, fostering engagement, and qualifying them as high-quality leads for our university partners. This role supports potential students through the early stages of the enrollment funnel and plays a critical role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth.

Hours and Location

  • Flexible scheduling, Monday - Friday for full-time or part-time schedules available (30 hours/week is considered full-time)
  • 100% remote role open to candidates residing in: Arizona (AZ), Colorado (CO), Georgia (GA), Missouri (MO), Kansas (KS), or Florida (FL)
  • Compensation: $23 – $28 per hour (W2), based on education and experience
  • Performance-based bonuses available
  • Overtime and weekend opportunities may be offered

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Initial Outreach: Engage prospective students from CRM lists via phone calls, emails, and SMS. Introduce them to our university partners and their academic offerings.
  • Lead Nurturing: Establish and maintain rapport with prospective students through consistent and personalized follow-up communication, providing timely and relevant information to encourage further interest.
  • Qualification: Evaluate and qualify leads based on criteria such as academic background, goals, and interests to ensure alignment with program offerings.
  • CRM Management: Accurately log all interactions and outcomes in the CRM system to ensure organized follow-ups and smooth hand-offs to enrollment teams.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Enrollment and Marketing teams to align on lead generation strategy, provide feedback on lead quality, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking: Meet or exceed individual lead generation and outreach metrics. Regularly report on activity volume, outcomes, and performance benchmarks.

Performance Expectations

For part-time roles, performance expectations are approximately 50% of full-time expectations.

  • Daily Dials: 250–350 (Note: Higher volume may suggest lower connect rates — e.g., 500+ dials could indicate fewer actual connections.)
  • Live Connects (Answers): 60
  • Conversations: 30 meaningful engagements per day
  • Completed Forms: 12–15 per day
  • (Goal: ~15 forms daily. Some leads may complete more than one form.)

Required Education and Experience

  • 2–4 years in customer support, inside sales, or a related field
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, email communication, and lead management tools
  • Experience with platforms such as PhoneBurner, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.

If you are a person with a disability needing assistance with the application, or at any point in the hiring process, please contact us at support@themomproject.com.
