Job description

We are seeking an Enterprise Data Operator on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is remote in EST hours.


Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, 9 am to 5:30 pm EST, 30-min unpaid lunch



Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming Excel files on an hourly basis and upload data into internal systems
  • Create and update customer and location records within master data systems
  • Handle new customer setup, credit updates, name changes, and account maintenance
  • Validate and verify data accuracy before and after uploads
  • Route credit account updates for approval while processing eligible updates independently
  • Maintain records of data input and ensure compliance with established procedures
  • Meet SLAs by completing file processing within defined timeframes
  • Perform data entry, formatting, and calculations using Excel
  • Identify errors through verification processes and apply corrections as needed
  • Compile, organize, and maintain reports, records, and documentation
  • Support teams with clerical and data-related tasks, including reporting and data preparation
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate updates, risks, or concerns
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned


Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data processing
  • Experience with functions such as VLOOKUP, CONCATENATE, and similar tools
  • Ability to work with large datasets and support mass uploads
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and experience with shared files (e.g., SharePoint)
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and validation
  • Ability to manage repetitive, high-volume tasks while maintaining quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic problem-solving skills with the ability to follow established processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Trilogy or similar data management systems
  • Familiarity with Airtable or similar tools
  • Experience using Excel macros (usage, not development)
