Estate & Business Planning Paralegal
30 hours/week depending on candidates' preferences
Hybrid/Remote- Local to San Antonio area preferred
$47,000-56,000 Salary (based on 30 hour schedule)

The Role
We’re seeking a skilled Estate & Business Planning Paralegal to join our boutique firm in a dynamic, multi-faceted position that combines paralegal expertise with leadership of our Client Care Program. You’ll draft high-quality estate and business planning documents using WealthCounsel, coordinate client relationships, and ensure our clients’ plans remain current, effective, and properly funded.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented Paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Estate Planning (40%)
- Draft trusts, wills, POAs, healthcare directives, and related documents using WealthCounsel
- Manage document execution and trust funding, including deeds and asset transfers
- Coordinate with clients and advisors to ensure smooth processes and complete funding
Business Planning (25–35%)
- Draft and maintain business entity documents: articles, operating agreements, bylaws, and minutes
- Prepare buy-sell agreements, succession plans, and asset protection documents
- Coordinate filings with state agencies and maintain compliance calendars
Client Care Program (25–35%)
- Manage and update client estate and business plans through systematic reviews
- Oversee secure document storage and client vaults
- Enhance the client experience through proactive communication and process improvements
Qualifications
Experience & Knowledge
- 3–5 years estate planning paralegal experience; 2+ years business planning preferred
- Strong knowledge of trusts, business entities, and asset protection strategies
- Proficiency (or willingness to learn) WealthCounsel; experience with Clio preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate
