Job description
Title: Estate Paralegal
Location: 100% Remote
Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience
Ideal Candidate: Has estate planning and estate administration experience. Attention to detail and ability to follow set procedures when accomplishing tasks is needed for this position.
Our client is a small law firm out of Braintree, MA. They are looking to add an Estate Paralegal to their team! This role will provide support to two attorneys in a busy estate planning and estate and trust administration firm on the South Shore.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Office Responsibilities:
- Drafting of Estate Planning Documents, Probate Petitions, Estate and Trust Accountings
- Assisting in the Preparation of Estate Tax Returns and Income Tax Returns.
- Shepard files from the drafting to signing stages and organize post signing tasks including recording of real estate documents and submission of beneficiary forms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ year of working in a law firm setting (preferred)
- Experience with estate planning terminology (preferred)
- Proactive and independent with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to understand and follow existing systems and workflows.
- Willingness to learn, lead, and express concerns constructively.
- A sense of purpose, finding personal satisfaction in impactful work.
- Commitment to making a difference for the aging population and their families.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
