Seeking an Experienced Trust Administration/Estate Planning Attorney – Remote – Part-Time

We help families to avoid court and conflict to leave a lasting legacy. Our law firm is growing rapidly, and we need an experienced attorney to join our team so we can keep helping people!

Please read all the way through and follow the instructions for applying. Do not apply through this posting service – we will only see resumes sent via email as instructed at the end of the posting.

We are small but growing, and we want members on our team who are ethical, professional, and trustworthy. This position is ideal for someone looking for a part-time fully remote position.

Do you want to be a happy lawyer who can focus on your family while positively impacting our clients and their families? Do you want a work-life balance to be with your kids? Our firm wants those things for its team members too. We value family first and need a Missouri licensed attorney to join our team and work remotely from home. This is a part-time position that allows for flexibility to prioritize family and personal goals.

We believe in being organized and proactive. We do NOT deal with “putting out fires.” There are rarely emergencies. This office does not handle contested matters.

This position will be responsible for important work, including:

· Overseeing and managing the workflow for trust administration matters

· Working with the trust administration legal assistant to develop tax and administration strategies

· Communicating with clients’ CPAs or other tax advisors to develop a cohesive strategy for tax planning and trust administration

· Answering legal and strategic questions from our support staff, clients, and clients’ financial and tax advisors

· Drafting and administering trusts and subtrusts

· Administering advanced planning techniques for high-net-worth clients such as irrevocable trust drafting and administration

· You are a problem-solver who looks for the best ways of doing things.

· Organization and systems are your love language.

· You value efficiency and are open to ways to improve and utilize technology to work smarter not harder.

We love to help people learn and grow, but we don’t have time for that right now. We need a trust administration attorney with experience. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding. This is a part-time job where you are expected to manage a caseload. We are looking for a remote candidate.
