Job description

Title: Event Coordinator & Social Media Content Specialist
Location: Phoenix, AZ <> Hybrid Schedule
Status: ~ 8 hours per week
Hourly Range: $25 - $32/hr, commensurate with experience

Founded in 2017, our client, is a woman-owned brewing company that was born out of the core belief that craft beer can make way for powerful conversations. Coming from a background in engineering, the founder built her self-funded business from the ground up and went from serving beers on tap in her garage to opening the brewery’s first taproom in Phoenix, Arizona in July 2020.

But why does the brewery really exist? Rewind to the founder's engineering days, going to happy hours with her coworkers and grabbing beers. Most people frequently assumed she wanted the “pink” beer. This sparked an internal fire that many women can relate to, a fire that calls for change. Just 3% of all breweries in the nation are woman-owned. In an industry largely dominated by men, women can feel underrepresented in the craft beer scene. They are aiming to change that.

In line with the Brewery's purpose-driven mission and the community they have cultivated locally, their footprint continues to grow, uplifting women and positioning the brand as a beacon for change.

Our client is seeking an events coordinator and social media content specialist. This is a contracted position requiring up to 15 hours per week. Candidate must be local to attend some events, but most of the work will be done remotely. Most events are in the evening, and work can be done at any time of the day/week.

Do you thrive on creativity and connection, with a keen eye for detail and a natural talent for organization? Do you excel at crafting compelling content, engaging stories, and managing multiple projects while collaborating seamlessly with creative professionals? If you’re looking for a creative outlet where you can drive brand awareness through strategic social media content and event coordination, this contract role is the perfect fit for your organized, detail-oriented approach.
