Our Customer is a Sunnyvale, California-based software, hardware, and services technology company. They are an industrial technology company transforming the way the world works by delivering solutions that enable their customers to thrive. They support global industries in building & construction, agriculture, geospatial, natural resources and utilities, governments, transportation and others. Core technologies in positioning, modeling, connectivity and data analytics connect the digital and physical worlds to improve productivity, quality, safety, transparency and sustainability.
We are seeking an Event Manager on a contract basis who will support the Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Event Manager position is key to the organization's success and requires a highly organized, creative, detail-oriented and motivated person to lead event planning, management, and production. You will focus on creating opportunities for the sales team to engage with customers, new business, and partners while providing a great experience for attendees. The events include regional and national trade shows and conferences, among others. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization and and must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines.
Must-haves:
- 5+ years of experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, similar field or equivalent is preferred
- A passion for event management
- Ability to provide outstanding communication to the staff, vendors and overall community
- Enthusiastic professional, and capable of building strong and positive relationships
