Our Customer was founded in 1982 in an effort to create a solid accounting firm headed by native professionals. They later branched out to other services, which is now a multinational professional services network with offices in over 150 countries and territories around the world. With more than 100,000 professionals, they provide audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies.
We are seeking an Event Services Manager on a contract basis to support an enterprise technology client’s cloud marketing function. This role is responsible for end-to-end planning and delivery of in-person, virtual, and hybrid programs across the United States, with a strong emphasis on marquee and executive-level events.
Reporting to the Events Lead, this position requires a proven track record in coordinating and delivering large-scale industry events, leading cross-functional teams and external vendors through all phases of production, and supporting seamless on-site execution.
The ideal candidate brings experience managing technology industry events, with additional expertise in executive-level programming strongly preferred.
This role is remote, with possibility of some travel.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage sub-workstreams across major external events, including executive summits and CXO programming
- Plan and develop event strategy, including dates, venues, audience targeting, and agenda design for high-profile executive audiences
- Design and execute event registration and communication plans, including drafting and coordinating email campaigns
- Manage event content and program logistics, including speaker coordination, session planning, reviews, and timelines
- Coordinate on-site event logistics, including vendor management, room layouts, setup, food and beverage, and load-in/load-out execution
- Partner with agencies and vendors to ensure seamless event delivery
- Manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations across event initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on event goals and execution
- Travel to support site visits and live event execution
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in B2B event marketing, coordination, or management
- Strong executive stakeholder management skills and professional presence
- Proven experience managing vendors, budgets, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across global teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness and ability to travel and support live event schedules
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing global events or large-scale executive programs
- Familiarity with privacy, brand, and accessibility standards for events
