We are seeking an Executive Assistant Business Partner on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is Hybrid in San Diego, CA.
Role Overview:
- We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support a senior leader in a fast paced technology environment.
- Someone who thrives in a high energy setting, exercises excellent judgment, and uses technology and AI to create leverage, leverage, not just complete tax tasks.
- This is a contract engagement covering a parental leave absence supporting a senior leader and their broader team.
- The right person operates as a true partner, not someone waiting to be told what to do, but someone who anticipates what's needed, protects the leader's time, and focus, and helps the whole team stay pointed at the highest value work.

Responsibilities:
- Complex calendar management prioritizing ruthlessly across competing demands, not just accepting meeting requests.
- Domestic and international travel coordination, including planning for time zones, contingencies, and last minute changes.
- Executive communications, drafting and managing correspondence with discretion, and a sharp eye for tone.
- Meeting operations, agendas, pre-reads, and follow through that keeps commitments from slipping.
- Cross-functional coordination, serving as a trusted point of contact across the leaders, team, and the broader organization,
- Expense management and day-to-day administrative operations run accurately without reminders.
- Team events, offsites, and special projects as they come up.
- Actively using AI and modern productivity tools to work faster and create, leverage for the whole team, not just the executive.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years supporting senior leaders, ideally in a fast paced tech or startup environment.
- Sound judgment and discretion, you've handled confidential high stakes information before.
- Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities. You don't need a playbook for every situation.
- Fluency with modern tools, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, Slack, Travel and Expense platforms like concur. And real curiosity about using AI and to work smarter.
- Sharp written and verbal communication skills.
- An operating partner mindset, you solve problems before you're asked, and think about leveraging leverage for the team, not just the calendar.
We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
