Job description

The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client a real estate investment firm headquartered in California. They are looking to hire a full-time candidate that provides support to principals of this quickly growing private commercial real estate investment firm. This role entails providing support for
acquisitions, underwriting, equity, marketing and dispositions of full-cycle commercial real estate.

You must have a demonstrated interest in wanting to work in the financial services industry with REITs, real estate funds/direct investment, sale leasebacks or private equity structures.

Full Cycle Commercial Real Estate Investments
● Exciting opportunity to work for a growing direct provider of commercial real estate investments
with ~$200M AUM, 2,000,000+ SQFT and acquiring 6-12 new properties per year.
● Provide support for acquisitions and dispositions, to include seeking lenders for projects,
supporting broker requests and needs, due diligence research and organization.
● Work with Controller and Principals to gather information in support of quarterly investor reports
and quarterly tenant financials.
● Support COO in marketing, analysis and research for investment packages, investor requests,
and other capital markets responsibilities.
● Perform administrative tasks, to improve company systems and standardization, professional look
and feel, and consistency across external channels.

Special Projects
● Support Managing Principal in special projects, growth initiatives, and exploratory research.
● Assist other departments with cyclical tasks and responsibilities for buying and selling investment
real estate.
● Create, organize, and execute team activities 2-3 times a year.

Experience:
● Bachelor's degree is required. Major in Real Estate, Economics, Mathematics, or Finance
Desired, but other technical majors may be considered
● Proficiency with Google G-Suite tools required, with an emphasis on google sheets and docs
● 3 years’ work experience required
● Excellent work ethic; team player
● Position primarily remote-based, with preference in Los Angeles or Dallas-Fort Worth to support
work in PST and CST time zones. You will be required to be in office at least 1-2 times a week while the Principal is in town.

Compensation will be competitive, consisting of a base salary and bonus/equity component, and will be commensurate with experience. Family culture and environment. Position is 90% remote, supporting a geographically distributed team.
