Job description

Executive Assistant / Project Assistant to the CEO

A private investment and development firm is seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to support the CEO. This is a high-trust, high-responsibility role for someone who is intelligent, organized, and able to operate independently.

This position is not suited for someone who needs constant direction, training, or supervision. The right candidate is proactive, resourceful, and able to manage information, coordinate projects, and solve problems without waiting to be told every step.

You will work directly with the CEO to help manage operations, projects, and communications across multiple initiatives. The ability to think clearly, stay organized, and execute reliably is essential.

If you are someone who waits to be told what to do, this role will not be a good fit. If you are someone who sees what needs to be done and handles it, you will thrive here.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage the CEO’s schedule, priorities, and communications

• Track multiple projects and ensure follow-through on tasks and deadlines

• Coordinate with partners, consultants, and external stakeholders

• Prepare summaries, documents, and briefing materials

• Organize files, communications, and operational information

• Identify and solve problems before they slow down projects

• Maintain professionalism and discretion with sensitive information

Qualifications / Skills

• Significant experience supporting an executive, founder, or senior leader

• Exceptional organization and attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently without constant supervision

• Strong judgment, reliability, and personal accountability

• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Experience in operations, finance, real estate, or private equity is a plus

Company Benefits / Perks

• Direct exposure to executive decision-making and business operations

• High-trust role with meaningful responsibility

• Opportunity to work closely with leadership and contribute to major projects

• Flexible work structure based on performance and results

This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently. If you apply, please include a short note explaining why you believe you are capable of operating in a high-responsibility role with minimal supervision and provide two examples from your past work where you anticipated a problem or opportunity and handled it without being asked.

Applications that do not include this information will not be considered.
