Job description

Our client, a major digital wedding planning company, is seeking an Executive Assistant to the CEO, on a contract basis.

Reports to: CEO

Location: NYC, Midtown South - Onsite 5 days per week, with Friday telework flexibility


About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned, senior-level Executive Assistant to serve as a trusted partner to our CEO. This individual will operate with a high degree of autonomy, judgment, and business acumen, ensuring the CEO’s time, focus, and operating rhythm are optimized against company priorities.


This role requires a sophisticated operator who thrives in complexity, anticipates needs before they arise, and brings executive presence and discretion to every interaction. This is a 5-day per week, in-office role based in NYC.

What You’ll DoExecutive Partnership & Strategic Calendar Management
  • Own and optimize the CEO’s complex, high-volume calendar with a strategic lens
  • Anticipate business needs and proactively shape the CEO’s time to align with company priorities
  • Protect space for long-term strategy while ensuring responsiveness to urgent matters
  • Ensure the CEO is fully prepared for meetings with clear objectives and materials
Executive Operating Rhythm
  • Support and refine the CEO’s operating cadence, including executive team meetings and leadership offsites
  • Drive preparation, agenda development, materials coordination, and follow-ups
  • Track high-priority initiatives and ensure momentum across stakeholders
Senior-Level Communication & Representation
  • Serve as a trusted liaison to senior executives and key external stakeholders
  • Draft and manage high-level communications on behalf of the CEO
  • Communicate confidently and independently as an extension of the CEO when appropriate
Travel, Logistics & Execution
  • Manage complex domestic and international travel
  • Oversee T&E and expense management with precision
Confidentiality & Judgment
  • Handle highly sensitive business matters with absolute discretion
  • Exercise exceptional judgment in triaging priorities and navigating ambiguity
Who You Are
  • 10–15+ years of experience supporting a CEO or C-level executive in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at a Senior or Director level with minimal oversight
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong executive presence with outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly proactive, resourceful, and calm under pressure
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Willing and excited to work in-office 5 days per week, with Friday telework flexibility in NYC
