Job description
The Mom Project is excited to support our customer, a nationally recognized hospital and healthcare system, with their search for an Executive Assistant to join their team.
This role will perform secretarial and general office work to support the President/Chief Operating Officer or Chief Financial Officer levels.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare letters, forms, and reports from rough drafts and corrected copies, including transcription of dictated material as needed
- Copy reports and records, and prepare periodic administrative reports
- Organize, maintain, and manage administrative files and records
- Answer and screen telephone calls, take messages, and route calls to appropriate individuals or voicemail
- Coordinate routine meetings, including agenda preparation and compilation of meeting materials
- Coordinate domestic and/or business travel arrangements
- Receive, track, and support the resolution of patient and employee complaints while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
- Open, review, and process incoming correspondence while ensuring confidentiality
- Prepare executive presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years of progressively responsible administrative or secretarial experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective interpersonal and corporate communication skills
- Strong oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Hours and Location:
- 1st shift, and some after hours
- On-site in Winston-Salem, NC
