Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Executive Producer with a strong background in television and broadcast production to lead and oversee the creation of high-quality content. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing production teams, budgeting, and ensuring the delivery of compelling and engaging content for various platforms. As an Executive Producer, you will play a pivotal role in the creative and strategic aspects of TV and broadcast projects, from concept development to post-production, and will work closely with production teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

About the position
The Executive Producer will assume a vital role in the day-to-day coordination of projects and productions, working collaboratively with cross-functional partners. Based in Brooklyn, New York, this contract hybrid position will involve the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire production process from concept development to final delivery, ensuring all aspects of the project meet established quality standards.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Collaborate with writers, directors, and other creative personnel to shape the vision and concept of each project.
- Provide creative input and guidance to ensure the alignment of the content with the network's brand and target audience.
- Lead production team on the development and management of project budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently.
- Provide a strategic approach to production costs and make strategic decisions to keep projects within budget without sacrificing quality.
- Oversee the selection of talent, including actors, and on-screen talent.
- Supervise the hiring and management of key production staff, such as directors, producers, and technical crews.
- Responsible for all production logistics, including location scouting, equipment rentals, and scheduling.
- Accountable for ensuring the production workflows are efficient and meet project deadlines.
- Set and maintain high standards for content quality, ensuring that projects meet industry best practices and client expectations.
- Responsible for quality control checks throughout the production process.
- Source and identify new relationships with industry professionals, talent agencies, and other stakeholders
- Identify potential strategic partnerships to enhance the company's content portfolio.
- Identify potential challenges and risks and develop contingency plans to address them.
- Proactively solve issues that arise during all stages of production.
- Present production plans to senior leadership.
More about you
- You have 10+ years of experience in TV, broadcast, and shoot productions (still and video)
- Strong industry knowledge and a deep understanding of the television and broadcast landscape, including non-TVC media formats like OOH, audio, podcast, etc
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial planning.
- Ability to foster a creative and collaborative work environment.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Familiarity with industry software and tools.
- Well-established industry contacts and relationships.
- You have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize based on evolving workload
- Ability to collaborate, empathize, encourage, and persuade a broad set of cross-functional partners on a project level.
- 30 hours/week in December 2023, moving to a 40 hours/week, standard EST schedule in January 2024
