While you may not know us, we bet you know our portfolio: Calendly, Expensify, and Datadog just to name a few. Our mission to improve people’s working lives permeates everything we do – from our investment strategy and how we work with our portfolio to firm operations and how we support our employees. With our team you will be surrounded by intelligent, innovative, creative people who strive to make a difference.

About the Role

Specific responsibilities:

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of executive positions (ranging from C-

  • Build relationships with leaders and quickly calibrate on ideal candidate profiles
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to hire the best talent for the role in a structured and objective manner
  • Manage the recruiting process from start to finish, keeping candidate experience top of mind and leading the process to sell and close the right candidate
  • Identify and manage external executive recruiters for the portfolio to leverage
  • Advise companies on executive recruiting best practices (interviewing, compensation, etc)
  • Engage in our internal Portfolio Review meetings to provide insights and ideas as to how to add/strengthen Executive Talent within our portfolio companies.
  • Maintain recruiting related data and report out on hiring progress

Experience and skills required:
  • 3-6 years of experience in executive search; ideally includes experience at either investment firm, venture-backed business, or exec search firm supporting early-stage SaaS business
  • Expertise in recruiting both technical and non-technical talent using a structured hiring process
  • Experience working with senior leaders and providing top tier stakeholder management
  • Exceptional oral communication and written skills
  • Skilled at crafting outbound sourcing strategies to build pipeline quickly
  • Familiarity with using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System), LinkedIn Recruiter, and Gem
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to run searches autonomously and also collaborate as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of recruiting data and reporting
