Job description

Our Customer is an American worldwise clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are availabile in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.


We are seeking an Experiential and Event Producer on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in NYC or San Francisco.



This role will plan, produce, and execute immersive brand experiences that leave lasting impressions. This role extends beyond event logistics, focusing on experiential marketing that translates brand essence into engaging, strategically aligned experiences. From internal employee activations to large-scale cultural events, this position is pivotal in shaping how audiences connect with the brand.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of a diverse mix of experiences and events, including brand activations, internal employee events, pop-ups, cultural marketing, and large-scale engagements.
  • Conceptualize and pitch ideas that translate brand narratives into impactful, tangible experiences.
  • Collaborate with internal creative, marketing, and content teams to ensure seamless brand integration.
  • Manage and source vendors, fabrication partners, production crews, and freelance event talent.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners in operations and workplace experience, including space planning, travel, catering, security, AV/Tech, engineering, and facilities.
  • Develop and oversee budgets, timelines, run-of-show documents, and production schedules.
  • Manage on-site event production, ensuring execution aligns with brand excellence.
  • Oversee permits, insurance, contracts, and safety compliance.
  • Track and measure event ROI through KPIs such as attendance, engagement, brand sentiment, lead capture, and social amplification.
  • Stay ahead of trends in experiential marketing, storytelling, spatial design, immersive tech, and consumer engagement.


Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience managing events with a portfolio of experiential or brand-focused projects.
  • Strong passion for storytelling through space, interaction, and sensory design.
  • Visual sensibility with an understanding of brand aesthetics and cultural relevance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in event software/tools such as Airtable, Microsoft Suite, and creative collaboration platforms (e.g., Figma, Miro).
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during event production windows.


Preferred:

  • Background in creative agencies, brand experience studios, or lifestyle/consumer brands.
  • Familiarity with production design, scenic builds, and spatial planning.
  • Experience collaborating with creative directors, designers, and brand teams to deliver immersive ideas.
  • Understanding of social media amplification strategies tied to live events.
