Job description
Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.
We are seeking a Facilities Manager on a contract basis to oversee the maintenance of all facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. This role is on-site in Burbank, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate facility maintenance and repair activities.
- Maintain equipment and building provisions to meet health and safety requirements.
- Ensure buildings and facilities remain compliant with maintenance protocols and applicable codes.
- Manage multiple facility-related projects and deadlines.
- Support budgeting activities related to facilities operations.
- Direct and coordinate work teams to ensure the timely completion of maintenance activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in facilities, building operations, maintenance, or related environments.
- Minimum 1 year of project management experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- 3+ years of interpersonal and customer service experience.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with high-profile stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Highly collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Planon or similar work order management systems.
- BA/BS degree.
