Job description

Our customer is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates and distributes a large portfolio of content and brands across television, film, and streaming and is available in over 200 countries and territories and over 45 languages. Headquartered in New York, NY with more than 30 office locations in the United States.


We are seeking a Fashion Associate on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Burbank, CA.



Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Apparel Team in managing category initiatives, revenue planning, and execution.
  • Support quarterly forecasts, accruals, and annual budget preparation by generating forecast templates, conducting outreach to licensees, collecting data, analyzing results, and making recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Apparel Team, licensees, and legal teams by creating, submitting, and tracking merchandise contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and import authorization or customs letters.
  • Track product sell-in, launches, and performance.
  • Facilitate the process for products to be featured on social media and marketing channels.
  • Maintain internal systems and keep stakeholders updated on licensee contacts and product launch timelines.
  • Coordinate updates and edits to event attendee lists.
  • Develop category updates and communicate information to internal and external audiences.
  • Maintain sample inventory and manage internal sample requests.
  • Partner with Product Development, Marketing, and Publicity teams to launch collaborations and manage projects through launch.
  • Assist with white space analysis, partner research, and identification of new business opportunities.
  • Organize and manage shared files and tools across platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint, Airtable, and Box.
  • Assist in preparing presentation materials for internal and external presentations.
  • Identify and apply competitive insights, industry trends, and key learnings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in licensing, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excel proficiency with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Project management experience in a fast-paced environment with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial forecasts and budgets.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully across all organizational levels.
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional partnership skills.
  • Ability to create presentations and pitch materials.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Self-starter with strong curiosity, adaptability, and dependability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensing industry experience or exposure.
  • Basic licensing industry knowledge.
  • Experience working in dynamic, cross-functional team environments.
