Job description

Our Customer is an American financial services mutual organization based in Milwaukee. The financial security company provides consultation on wealth and asset income protection, education planning, retirement planning, investment advisory services, financial planning trust and private client services, estate planning and business planning. Its products include life insurance, permanent life insurance, disability income, and long-term care insurance; annuities; investments; and investment advisory products and services.

Our customer is looking for a Field Marketing Consultant on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.

The Field Marketing Consultant is responsible for overseeing various field marketing programs from strategy through tactical execution. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketer, with technical expertise of software and digital tools.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for process improvement, journey building, and marketing technologies. The Field Marketing Consultant will be responsible for the development and execution of assigned field marketing programs, while maintaining and optimizing existing field marketing programs – ensuring the programs maximize engagement and user experience across stakeholder groups.

The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter who takes the initiative to proactively learn the company/role, drives process improvements and adapts to a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, interacting positively with internal stakeholders, the field, and field marketing team.

What You'll Do:

  • Field Marketing Program Management: Drive the implementation and management of assigned programs, including but not limited to: operational workflows, special purpose mailbox management, and Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) development and management, etc.
  • Process Management/Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of formal processes and guidelines for managing field marketing service & operations
  • Project Management/Tracking: Ensure projects are progressing-to-plan as measured by the achievement of key milestones, meeting timeline & standard turnaround time expectations, tracking feedback and gathering success metrics, etc.
  • Customer Service: Provide support for the Field, including responding to questions, requests and feedback
  • Cross-Functional Team Alignment: Build and effectively leverage relationships with various teams including, but not limited to, Field Marketing Consultants, Enterprise business partners, Marketing Department stakeholders, Creative Solutions, and Compliance to ensure alignment on project plans and execution
  • Metrics/Analytics: Identify gaps in current processes and work with cross-functional partners to drive efficiencies
Must-haves:
  • 3-5 years or Marketing experience
  • Client consultation skills
  • Strong writer
  • Experience in a broad range of marketing tools and in marketing strategy
