Job description

Our client, the country's #1 QuickBooks Consulting Firm, is building out their remote team that provides technology and business consulting centered around financial, accounting, and supply chain management software.

Job Summary:
The Finance Assistant will possess a desire to continually learn in their role with technology and business process changes. This individual will be a master of change management, with the ability to change directions in a fast-paced growing company. The Finance Assistant provides technical support in a variety of functions to the accounting or finance department under limited supervision. This individual will be a self-starter who has a keen sense of process improvement. This role will develop and maintain Accounts Payable workflow processes within the Bill.com environment as well as the organizational workflow for the internal finance team. They will be responsible for financial analytics and reporting on a weekly/monthly basis. This individual will be responsible for multiple sets of books. This individual will represent the best of our company core values and be the face of finance to our outside vendors and clients at times. The Finance Assistant III will work directly with the Finance Manager and CFO.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None at this time.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Maintain Accuracy of AR, AP, and cash accounts with limited supervision.
• Recurring monthly billing of clients.
• Assist with Month End Close of Corporate Books.
• Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation with schedules.
• Own Sales import process from the Webstore and CRM system.
• Identify Gaps in process and present solutions.
• Consistently meet internal reporting deadlines.
• Maintain and organize our digital filing system.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external clients.
• Other finance duties as assigned according to business needs.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Strong Excel skills are preferred.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM system.
• Proficient in QuickBooks or related Accounting Software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Business preferred, this requirement can be met with a combination of experience and education.
Three to Four years related experience required, upwardly mobile Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant.
A minimum of two-years’ experience with AP, AR, Bank Reconciliations, and Month End Close.
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM system strongly preferred.
Experience with ShareFile or cloud-based filing system preferred.
