Ready for a career with greater flexibility, meaningful impact, and the opportunity to build something of your own?
Northwestern Mutual is seeking motivated, relationship-driven individuals to join our team as Financial Advisors. Help individuals, families, and business owners achieve their financial goals while building a business, developing lasting client relationships, and creating a career with long-term growth potential.
No prior financial services or Financial Advisor experience required.
If you're a natural relationship builder with an entrepreneurial mindset, we'll provide the training, mentorship, and licensing support to help you get started.
Whether your background is in sales, business development, banking, education, healthcare, hospitality, recruiting, the military, or another people-focused field, your experience could be a great foundation for a career in financial planning.
What You'll Do
- Build meaningful relationships: Connect with individuals, families, and business owners through your professional network and local community.
- Understand financial goals: Learn what matters most to your clients and help them plan for their financial futures.
- Create personalized strategies: Develop financial plans tailored to clients' needs, priorities, and life stages.
- Provide financial guidance: Help clients navigate insurance, investments, retirement, and wealth planning solutions.
- Build your own business: Grow and manage a client practice while developing your professional reputation and network.
What We Provide
You don't need to have it all figured out on day one. We provide the resources and support to help you build your knowledge, confidence, and practice.
- Comprehensive onboarding and professional training
- One-on-one mentorship and ongoing coaching
- Licensing support, including reimbursement for your first four licenses
- Industry-leading financial planning tools and technology
- Continued learning and professional development
- A collaborative team environment with opportunities to learn from experienced advisors
Who We're Looking For
- Entrepreneurial: Excited by the opportunity to build and grow a business of your own.
- Relationship-driven: Enjoy connecting with people, building trust, and developing lasting relationships.
- Self-motivated: Take initiative, set goals, and stay focused on achieving them.
- Coachable: Open to learning, feedback, and professional development.
- Purpose-driven: Motivated by helping others work toward greater financial security.
- Ready for a change: Looking for a new career path with meaningful work and long-term potential.
Your experience matters, but your potential matters just as much. You do not need a background in financial services to apply.
