We are seeking a Real Estate Financial Analyst on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote.
This role will work primarily in a support role on lease acquisitions, dispositions, transactions, projects, and account management-related projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a detailed financial analysis, including NPV cash flows
- Prepare detailed approval documents for client submission
- Assist in the preparation and update of reports, presentations, and analyses
- Work directly with clients and team members to resolve the financial model
- Attend regular conference calls
- Assist in preparing commission invoices and tracking transactions on, web-based application
- Develop an understanding of basic building systems, real estate, and lease terminology
- Create deal entries and manage activity, invoicing, and documents in Client RE Tool
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, or related field with a record of high academic achievement (strong GPA).
- At least 2 years of applicable experience
- LEED certification, real-estate brokerage, or salesperson's license desired
- Strong financial, analytical, and reporting skills
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information
- Advanced computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), CoStar, Mapping Software, and the ability to master company-specific database programs
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic understanding of real estate and lease terminology
- Well-developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners and clients
- Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload
- Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments
- Understanding of and commitment to client services
- A desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
