Job description

A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Financial Analyst to help support their business needs.



Responsibilities:

  • Analyze contracts to identify pricing errors, discrepancies, and recovery opportunities
  • Deliver high-quality audit findings to communicate contract issues to purchasing teams
  • Partner with stakeholders to review audit results and agree on recovery strategies
  • Support purchasing teams in supplier negotiations
  • Drive timely closure of open audits and recovery of overpayments
  • Meet performance targets, including contract touch rate, study aging, and cost recovery goals
  • Perform financial analysis using internal systems to determine root causes of pricing errors
  • Analyze ad-hoc financial and operational reports
  • Interface with cross-functional teams in both group and individual settings to review discrepancies between purchasing systems and supplier contracts
  • Drive closure of open cases and collection of overpayments within established timelines
  • Conduct special studies as requested by leadership
  • Identify and collect significant annual supplier cost recoveries

Hours and Location:

  • M-F, 40 hours/week
  • Hybrid in Warren, MI - 3 days(Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in-office, 2 days remote per week
