Job Description: Financial Paraplanner
Full-Time/Perm
- 40 hours/week, onsite in office
- $41,600-45,000
Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Paraplanner to support financial planning team in maintaining client databases, managing internal systems, ensuring compliance, and handling administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in streamlining operations and facilitating client service excellence within our firm.
Responsibilities:
- Update client databases and financial planning software with accurate and current information before client meetings.
- Manage and maintain the company's investment consolidation software (eMoney) to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with regulations applicable to Registered Investment Advisors (RIA).
- Monitor and review trade logs to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for client meetings, including preparation of materials and follow-up actions.
- Support the financial planner in preparing financial plans and reports for client review meetings.
- Collaborate with team members to support the development and execution of marketing initiatives.
- Manage the firm's marketing programs, including coordinating venue reservations, liaising with marketing partners, and assisting with promotional activities.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve internal processes and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in a financial services firm or similar role is desirable.
- Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney) and Microsoft Office
- Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Understanding of investment products, financial markets, and investment terminology.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for RIAs is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
