Job description

The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a boutique wealth management firm that seeks to deliver a valuable, differentiated client experience. Our client is looking to add a Financial Paraplanner to their team, supporting the managing director of the firm.

The main purpose of this role is to supplement client service and outreach through updating and establishing financial plans. Some interaction with clients will be simply scheduled check-ins, and others will be building a software based plan for the family. A working knowledge of planning, insurance, or investment is preferred, including familiarity with MoneyGuide Pro, and some experience in client service is necessary. Experience with project management and/or marketing could also prove helpful in this role.

The ideal candidate would be a certified paraplanner (FPQP, CFFP), but our client welcomes candidates excited about this field who have a desire to deepen their knowledge in the field through pursuing industry designations, which will be paid for or reimbursed upon successful completion. Our client also welcomes bids from CFP and SIMA candidates, and pay range will be commensurate with that experience as needed.

Ideal start date of early December, after which 2-6 weeks of training alongside the managing director of the firm will take place. Client interactions planned to start in January after the holiday season.

This role is part time (approximately 20 hours to start), and hybrid. Ideally, this person would spend 2-3 days in our client's Buckhead office for 4-5 hours each day, with remaining hours completed remotely. This role can grow over time to full time employment with bonus.

All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.

If you are a person with a disability needing assistance with the application, or at any point in the hiring process, please contact us at support@themomproject.com.
