Job description
The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a financial services company located in Oakbook, IL! They are looking for a Financial Services Administrative Assistant to join their team!
Summary
The full-time (~37-hrs/week) administrative assistant position ensures the efficient operation of a financial advisory practice. The applicant must have strong clerical and administrative skills, computing skills, interpersonal skills and customer service skills. You will be working on a team and assigned to help grow and maintain client base. Prior LPL experience will be given preferential status.
The ideal candidate must possess:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook and Word
- Can work independently, is driven, energetic, self-motivated and positive
- Be detail oriented—able to dot all the “I’s” and cross all the “T’s”
- College graduate with a minimum of 2 – 3 years office administrative and/or executive assistant experience
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced office environment
- *Series 7 License nice to have, willingness to get license a MUST!
This position will:
- Interact with clients and associates in a professional and courteous manner. Furthers our team’s predictable, positive work atmosphere.
- Prepare documents for client onboarding, ongoing maintenance of accounts, and help fulfill client requests
- Ensure completion of business transactions and any follow up requirements
- Set appointments and help prepare for client meetings
- Help resolve client issues in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
This opportunity is a salaried position and pay is determined by a candidate’s level of experience and industry knowledge. Company location is based in Oak Brook. References and background check required. Equal Opportunity Employer. Benefits include a health insurance plan and 401K.
