Job description

The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a financial services company located in Oakbook, IL! They are looking for a Financial Services Administrative Assistant to join their team!

Summary

The full-time (~37-hrs/week) administrative assistant position ensures the efficient operation of a financial advisory practice. The applicant must have strong clerical and administrative skills, computing skills, interpersonal skills and customer service skills. You will be working on a team and assigned to help grow and maintain client base. Prior LPL experience will be given preferential status.

The ideal candidate must possess:


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook and Word

  • Can work independently, is driven, energetic, self-motivated and positive

  • Be detail oriented—able to dot all the “I’s” and cross all the “T’s”

  • College graduate with a minimum of 2 – 3 years office administrative and/or executive assistant experience

  • Time management skills to handle multiple tasks in fast-paced office environment

  • *Series 7 License nice to have, willingness to get license a MUST! 

This position will:


  • Interact with clients and associates in a professional and courteous manner. Furthers our team’s predictable, positive work atmosphere.

  • Prepare documents for client onboarding, ongoing maintenance of accounts, and help fulfill client requests

  • Ensure completion of business transactions and any follow up requirements

  • Set appointments and help prepare for client meetings

  • Help resolve client issues in a timely manner

  • Perform other duties as assigned
