We are seeking a Foreign Exchange Support Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote/week) in Houston, TX.



Responsibilities:

  • Support all post-execution processes for treasury instruments, including FX spot, forward contracts (deliverable, non-deliverable, and synthetic).
  • Monitor systems related to current process flows, identifying, investigating, and resolving exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Process manual cash or trade instructions when required.
  • Liaise daily with internal and external business partners.
  • Complete start and end-of-day tasks relevant to Treasury Support.
  • Manually process trade executions outside of automated processes.
  • Respond to inquiries via email and telephone, ensuring same-day resolution or acknowledgment.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation exceptions raised by the Hyderabad reconciliations team.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that are measurable and effective.
  • Assist with system testing as required.
  • Collaborate with other Operations and GPS teams.
  • Mentor Tier I Analysts and provide support or coverage for Senior Analysts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the securities or investment industry within the Foreign Exchange support area, ideally with exposure to all aspects of treasury processing.
  • General understanding of financial markets and solid knowledge of treasury instruments.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data, make sound judgments, and propose resolutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with individuals across business functions and levels.
  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with technology applications and software to support trading complexity and automation.
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach and ability to meet tight deadlines.
