Job description
At our Client, the Growth Marketing Manager implements and drives the company’s marketing strategy. This role owns inbound marketing channels, lead generation efforts, brand messaging and the company’s digital presence. You’ll play a central role in expanding visibility, generating new opportunities and supporting business growth. In turn, you’ll be a pivotal part of our efforts to help more clients expand their impact and improve the lives of people worldwide.
This is a new role, which means it carries autonomy in the implementation of our marketing strategy – a perfect fit for someone who’s ambitious, nimble, creative and thrives on identifying new opportunities and making the most of them. We anticipate that the time commitment will be 15-20 hours weekly. Contractors submit their monthly invoices on the 1st, and we pay them on net 30 terms - so they receive payment by the end of the month.
Responsibilities:
Growth Strategy & Lead Generation
- Execute and optimize established marketing strategies to drive measurable growth and expand reach
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback; provide insights and recommendations to leadership for strategic adjustments
- Implement and manage multi-channel lead generation campaigns across website, email, social media, paid advertising, and events to drive qualified pipeline growth
- Continuously test, measure, and optimize campaign performance using data-driven approaches to improve conversion rates, lead quality, and ROI
Brand Execution & Sales Enablement
- Execute brand messaging consistently across all marketing channels and touchpoints to reinforce positioning
- Create and maintain marketing collateral, case studies, and sales materials that support lead conversion and client acquisition efforts
- Collaborate with leadership and sales teams to develop compelling pitch materials and proposal content that drives revenue growth
- Research and submit award applications to build brand credibility and generate PR opportunities
Digital Growth & Optimization
- Manage and optimize the company website for lead generation, conversion rate optimization, and user experience
- Support website improvement initiatives focused on growth metrics and conversion optimization
- Execute monthly content audits and updates with a focus on SEO performance and lead generation impact
- Implement growth hacking techniques, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization across digital channels to maximize marketing ROI
How success will be measured in this role
Growth Execution & Optimization:
- Execute and launch at least one growth campaign per quarter with defined success metrics
- Provide monthly performance reports with data-driven insights and optimization recommendations to leadership
Content & Brand Support:
- Produce at least one significant marketing asset (case study, white paper, etc.) per month
- Submit applications for at least two relevant awards per quarter
- Support leadership with materials for at least one conference speaking or webinar proposal per quarter
Website Growth & Conversion:
- Achieve consistent 3–7% month-over-month growth in unique visitors and sessions through optimization efforts
- Improve engagement metrics including bounce rate, time on page, and pages per session through A/B testing and UX improvements
- Increase conversion rates (contact requests, gated content downloads) with measurable progress toward 3-4% of site visitors converting
Email Marketing Growth:
- Execute launch of new e-newsletter strategy within 60 days of onboarding
- Grow email subscriber base by 2–4% net new contacts each month through lead magnets and optimization
- Maintain or exceed 20–30% open rates and 3-6% click-through rates through testing and segmentation
Social Media & LinkedIn Growth:
- Execute LinkedIn content strategy across company and individual channels within 30 days
- Maintain consistent posting cadence (minimum 1-2 posts per account per week) with quality engagement focus
- Achieve steady month-over-month growth in organic followers through strategic content and engagement
- Maintain minimum 3-4% engagement rate among LinkedIn followers through optimized content
Lead Generation & Pipeline Support:
- Execute lead-generation campaigns within 60 days, focusing on qualified lead quality over quantity
- Generate measurable growth in Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) through campaign optimization and testing
- Support leadership team in converting leads to 8+ qualified meetings and/or pitch calls per quarter
Collaboration & Team Integration:
- Consistently receive positive ratings on team collaboration and communication in quarterly feedback surveys
- Demonstrate proactive communication and alignment with internal teams and external partners
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of growth marketing or digital marketing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a campaign management or lead generation role. Experience at a creative agency, B2B services company, or startup environment preferred.
- Experience working fractionally and/or remotely
- A demonstrable commitment to using AI to automate tasks and create efficiencies.
- Familiarity with healthcare and/or science organizations is a plus.
